Markette by Mercy needed to be a plant-based cafe and grocery store that felt as honest as the products it sells.

The concept stayed deliberately simple, built around unfinished materials and the natural texture of wood. Getting there meant working through perception and expectation early and intensely, with scribbles, crumbs, stitches, and paintings all feeding into the final layout before a single wall went up.
